Deborah Caldwell
B.S. Kinesiology
Cal Poly-SLO 1999
Deborah Caldwell’s interest in human anatomy and physiology began early in life. Motivated by a desire to better understand and manage the limitations of her own body while pursuing outdoor activities, she earned a degree in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Her treatment approach is outcome-oriented and informed by thousands of hours of somatic education and extensive experience with both general and athletic populations.
She has supplemented her formal education with advanced training in Structural Integration, Esalen Massage, Pilates, Yoga, and multiple complementary modalities. Her clinical background includes work with a diverse range of clients, including collegiate athletes, post-rehabilitation patients, recreational movers, and individuals experiencing chronic stress or physical imbalance.
Deborah combines refined manual therapy skills with an in-depth understanding of biomechanics and functional movement to reduce pain, restore mobility, and support overall physical resilience. Each session is personalized to address the individual’s therapeutic goals and may incorporate techniques such as cupping, myofascial release, and neuromuscular re-education as appropriate.
In her free time, Deborah can be found outdoors with her horses and dogs or in and around water.
